I think i would rock the 50s and 60s.
I'm not fit for this hip century where technology is the name of the game. *rolls eyes*
Making this dumb blog sure is hard as hell as i'm trying to do this all on my own now. ;-D
I love fashion. And despite what you buttmunches think, fashion does not equate to just shopping.
Which... on the other hand is something i do best too.
My dad doesn't understand how i can buy the same thing in two colours.. he lives in the era of B&W tv.
I love fashion mags but i hate trends. Abit of an oxymoron, but there is a big difference.
Something to do with how i hate seeing people let these magazines dictate their personal style when all it should do is inspire. I'm not criticizing the magazines and it's wonderful editors.
The bestest designers in the world are John Galliano, Nic Ghesquiere, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Manolo Blahnik, Stella Mccartney, Alexander McQueen, Phoebe Philo...........
Many others are awesome but have not reached the GALLIANO-ESQUE stage.
Memorize these names and maybe i'll love you. :-)
I love life and God.
I've wanted to be a professional full time dancer all my life until 15.
People like singing in the shower, i like dancing in it.
I did ballet, lyrical jazz, funk jazz, funk, tap and salsa. Someone teach me the Melbourne Shuffle.
Now, one of my unrealistic dreams is to be working for Anna Wintour. So that when I die, something worthy can be written on my gravestone. Under my name could be something like this:
Born on February 9th, 1987. Died on __________, age XXX
Loved God.
Worked next to legendary fashion icon/tyrant, Anna Wintour, and survived.
But died instead due to ______________.
I say it's unrealistic because by the time i graduate and work my way to actually being NEAR the lady, she would have retired. :-(
I'm not much of a tv person but when it comes to Friends, Will & Grace, Queer Eye for a Straight Guy, The OC, Project Runway, I am an addict.
I can proudly proclaim that i have watched every single Friends episode. All. Ten. Seasons. Before i turned 19.
I'm on my way with Will & Grace.
Love music. But don't try to win my love with a hard techno trance filled, head splitting euro dance CD. I love house, deep house, electro, jazz, chill out, oldies and a whole bunch of other genres.
To me, Michael Jackson will always remain The King of Pop.
And although i'm loving this modern day lifestyle, it will take my breath away if i could go back in the day where i could meet the best icons. Phwweew-weet!
Maybe if one day you are lucky enough to meet me, I will tell you more about myself. ;-D
